The Mora County Commission voted unanimously last week to adopt a resolution declaring that fire danger exists within the county and imposing a series of restrictions in hopes of preventing a potentially devastating wildfire.
“We’re very concerned,” Mora County Manager Rebecca P. Montoya said.
“This has been a really dry year,” she added. “We’ve had almost no moisture.”
