Mixed results in Moriarty

Placing second within its own pool and then losing to Albuquerque Manzano in a competitive third-place battle, the Robertson wrestling team finished fourth in this past weekend’s Moriarty Duals, a 10-team event.

Both Robertson and West Las Vegas did have some individual successes on the mat as the final month of the regular season begins.

“We wrestled pretty good overall,” said RHS head coach Richard Martinez, “but we lost some matches that we should not have lost. We continue to get better each week, but we are not where we need to be yet.”
