We at Samaritan House Inc. are proud to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the 2010 grant award from The Catholic Foundation (Archdiocese of Santa Fe). A $5,000 award was received and will be used to assist with our Food Pantry Program.
At the present time, we are servicing about 220 households during our monthly food distributions.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to The Catholic Foundation (Archdiocese of Santa Fe) and Marta A. Santiago, program manager for the foundation, for this award; and to Immaculate Conception Parish, Father George Salazar and board of directors Katie McDonough and John Geffroy for all their time, dedication and assistance given to the grant proposal.
There are no words to express our gratitude, except to say “thank you” for caring and for helping our community members of Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
