Just a note of appreciation for our two large, great, well-maintained local public swimming pools, the city facility and Highlands.

For a nominal drop-in fee (one dollar and two dollars, respectively), residents can enjoy a refreshing, healthful swim at convenient hours. I imagine that there are cities our size which do not have even one such pool, let alone two, so I think we are fortunate.
