-A A +A

On behalf of The La Plaza Little League Girls 10 and 11 year-old Softball Team, I would like to recognize local businesses and individuals that helped us on our trek to the district and state tournament.

As many of you may already know, our team made the state championship game.

I would like to thank Southwest Capital Bank, Community 1st Bank, Price’s, Franken Construction, Rosemary Montoya (State Farm), JC’s Pizza, Collin’s Dental and Abran Ulibarri. I also want to thank Charlie Sandoval (Spic & Span) for giving the team a pancake breakfast. I want to apologize in advance if I left anyone out. I am very proud of this team as they showed dedication and commitment the entire season.

I want to say a special thank you to our team mom, Sandra Lucero-Baca, for all her work she did throughout the season. And a special thank you goes out to our vice president of softball and its coach, Abie Ulibarri, and to our bookkeeper, Melanie Lopez.

In conclusion, I would also like to thank the parents for helping us build this softball program. In addition, Thanks also to La Plaza Little League for doing a great job.
Paul Sandoval
Manager/Vice President
of La Plaza Little League

Recently a member of our family experienced an unexpected, serious illness, and if it were not for the many qualified and proficient medical professionals who assisted us, total recovery as it is today would not have been possible.

For this, we would like to thank the following: Mary-Ann Osuchowski-Sanchez CFNP and staff of Urgent Care of Las Vegas; Superior Ambulance; Alta Vista Regional Hospital, including ER Dr. Kelly, Dr. Roethnel, the ER nurses, MedSurg nursing staff, RRT/RNs, CNAs, and housekeeping staff; and Alta Vista Regional Hospital Pediatric Dr. Chittum and Dr. Wright.

We witnessed knowledgeable, dedicated, and professional individuals; our community is well served.
