On behalf of Alta Vista Regional Hospital, I extend our appreciation to our Partners Superior Ambulance, Collins Dental, Community 1st Bank, The Bank of Las Vegas and Walgreens for their contribution to the fourth annual “Back to School Health and Safety Event.”

I would also like to recognize the following organizations who donated to this event. Del Norte Pharmacy, KNMX Radio, LCC Montañas Del Norte AHEC, Melton Real Estate, New Mexico Poison Center, The Trujillo Agency, Wells Fargo, The Little Moon Restaurant and K-Bobs. Because of your commitment we were able to distribute 1,000 backpacks with basic school supplies to area children.

In addition, our sincere gratitude to the following agencies who participated at the back to school event: Abe Montoya Recreation Center, Carnegie Library, Collins Dental, LCC MdN AHEC, New Mexico State Police, New Vistas Early Childhood Program, Ride to Pride, San Miguel County DWI Program, and U.S. Forestry Department. Your commitment was incredibly helpful and allowed us to experience a huge success. Your assistance and contribution was invaluable to us and to the children and families in our area.
