Memorial Middle School runners taking off

Under the tutelage of Georgianne Brown, Memorial Middle School’s cross country teams are making some serious strides this season.

Memorial’s girls’ team (made up primarily of sixth graders) started the year by winning at Espaola. “On top of that,” Brown said, “many of the girls established good times and other personal accomplishments.”
