A few months ago, Las Vegas’ Republican mayor, Tony Marquez, endorsed Democrat Barack Obama for president.
On Tuesday, the Obama campaign enlisted Marquez to join New Mexico Lt. Gov. Diane Denish on a conference call with New Mexico reporters to criticize automated calls from Republican John McCain’s presidential campaign.
The mayor reported that he has received negative automated calls from McCain’s campaign but that he had hung up.
