A Las Vegas man was charged with his seventh DWI after getting his sports utility vehicle stuck on a boulder near the Montezuma Skating Pond earlier this month.
Adan Vigil, 65, of the 700 block of Dalbey Drive, was arrested and booked into the San Miguel County Detention Center on Feb. 8. Because it was a seventh drunk driving offense, it is considered a third-degree felony. State police also charged Vigil with misdemeanor counts of driving on a suspended or revoked license, having no proof of insurance, not having his vehicle registered and careless driving.
