Luna finalists' names released

A search committee on Friday recommended five candidates for consideration as the next Luna Community College president.

Under state law, the Board of Trustees now must wait at least 21 days before it can make a final decision on president.

State law requires the trustees to consider the five candidates. However, a college attorney declined to comment on whether the board could select someone other than the five finalists after 21 days.
