From its modest beginnings as Luna Vocational-Technical Institute to its morphing into a bona fide community college, Luna has meant a lot to the area.
With its nursing and dental programs, the school has sent out scores of licensed practical nurses and registered nurses who populate doctors’ offices in this area and beyond. Similar boasts can be made about the dental program.
Luna has filled numerous gaps in the areas of vocational training, auto mechanics, wood-working, the liberal arts and sciences.
