Luna college election set for March

Four seats are up for grabs in the March 5 Luna Community College Board of Trustees election, and those thinking about running for the positions have less than a week to decide.

Filing day for the positions is Jan. 16. Interested candidates must file with the San Miguel County Clerk’s Office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in order for their names to appear on the ballot. The deadline for filing to run as a write-in candidate is 5 p.m. on Jan. 29.
