Friday, Sept. 13 — With a total enrollment at the end of the seventh day of school of 2,738, Las Vegas City Schools have an increase of approximately 100 students. The largest increase is at Robertson High School, where 696 enrolled, compared to 616 last year, according to Tom Clark, superintendent. The boost is partially due to the closing of Immaculate Conception High School. An additional increase in overall enrollment is expected when Highlands opens. Other schools: Las Vegas Junior High, 745; Paul D. Henry, 584; Douglas, 318; Gallinas, 153; Commerce 119; and Mora Elementary 123.
