Thursday, Oct. 25 — Elmer Kaemper, manager of the Public Service Co., here, briefed members of the City and Town Council on the plans of the Public Service Company in the Las Vegas area and reviewed the company’s history here at a noon luncheon meeting at the Flamingo. Kaemper reviewed the development of the company’s well field in the Las Vegas area in 1956 and 1957 with four wells drilled in the Taylor field. These wells enabled the company to maintain its supply of water to Las Vegas during the drought years.
