Thursday, Oct. 18 — The resignation of Dr. Ram S. Gursahani, acting superintendent of the New Mexico State Hospital, was accepted today by the Board of Directors at a specially called meeting. “The reason I’m leaving,” Dr. Gursahani told the directors, “stems from the discharge of a valuable employee [Arthur Tafoya] without sufficient cause. I do not wish to work at an institution which is under the control of the business manager.”
