Thursday, Nov. 8 — There will be skating on the scenic pond in the Gallinas Canyon this winter, thanks to the actions of a group of interested persons. Prompted by the apparent loss of what has been described as “one of the most beautiful skating ponds anywhere,” a meeting was arranged for Wednesday night, at which the Las Vegas Skating Assn, Inc.,  was formed. Some 40 persons attended.
