Wednesday, Oct. 3 — Four representatives of Las Vegas met yesterday morning with U.S. Senator Dennis Chavez in Albuquerque to discuss proposed development projects for the Las Vegas area and on a good-will visit. Meeting with Senator Chavez were Cap Parkinson, Area Redevelopment head; W.J. Octhterbeck, Rural Area Development; J.R. Nunn, Chamber of Commerce president; and Apolonio Duran, county Democratic chairman, who arranged the meeting before the senator left Washington.
