Saturday, Feb. 23 — The bureau of public roads, collaborating with the Las Vegas chamber of commerce, is arranging to plant trees along highway 85 from the city limits north of town to the Storrie project canal and the junction of state highway No. 3 in keeping with the plan of beautification of highways. A.A. Blinks, landscape engineer with the state highway department, was in Las Vegas Thursday investigating the situation and attempting to determine what water sources might be employed for watering the trees.
