Wednesday, Jan. 23 — When the North team assembles this August to play against the South in the annual football game at Lobos’ stadium in Albuquerque, Las Vegas will be represented by two boys who have been standouts in the life of their schools for several years. Eddie Valdez has been selected for the team as guard, a position he held down on the West Las Vegas Dons for the past three years. Mark Johnson took the helm as quarterback on the Robertson Cardinal football team in his sophomore year.
