Friday, Jan. 3 — Registration for Highlands University’s Winter Quarter has been set for Monday, James Elliott, registrar announced. The use of a pre-registration process started several years ago for the Winter and Spring Quarter registration and the use now of HU’s IBNM 1620 computer has made advising and registration a one-day operation, Elliott said. In addition to discovering how to live with IBM cards, students will have their meals in a new dining hall. Ray Farmer, dean of students, has announced that the dining room at Monte Vista Hall, the new men’s dormitory, is now completed. The dining hall being abandoned was originally Highlands’ first gymnasium.
