Friday, Feb. 8 — New Mexico House Memorial No. 10, introduced by San Miguel County Representatives Arcenio A. Gonzales and Fidel C. Gonzales recommends “to the consideration of the city of East Las Vegas and the Town of West Las Vegas the advantages of consolidation. The memorial states that the “consolidation of these two great New Mexico communities would result in the creation of an even greater Las Vegas, which would contribute much to the economy of government and the promotion of efficient and broader services to the citizens of both communities.”
