Thursday, Dec. 20 — Representatives of Southern Union Gas Co. made an informal proposal on serving Las Vegas with natural gas, at the meeting of the City Council last night, with representatives of the Town attending. Tom Corr, president of Southern Union Gas, explained that it would cost about $1,100,000 to bring the pipeline from Santa Fe to Las Vegas and about $7,509,000 for the distribution system within the City and Town, and to maintain the line.
