Tuesday, June 18 — Mayor Frank Olmstead of the City of Las Vegas called a meeting of councilmen, news media, City officials, Town councilmen, a representative of the Chamber of Commerce and a representative of the New Mexico State Senate to discuss the merits of bringing natural gas into Las Vegas at an early opportunity. If natural gas is brought to Las Vegas by the San Marcol Company, it would be brought here with Maxwell, Springer, Wagon Mound, East and West Las Vegas co-operating, it was explained.
