New Mexico’s largest school district is parting ways with its superintendent, but neither side is saying why.
The Albuquerque Public Schools Board voted unanimously Friday to accept Winston Brooks’ resignation, despite the fact that he still has two years left on his contract.
Unfortunately the settlement agreement entered into by Brooks and the district shortchanges New Mexico taxpayers.
