FORT COLLINS, Colo. — No. 16 New Mexico ended No. 22 Colorado State’s 28-game home winning streak — the third longest at the time — thanks to a career game from guard Kendall Williams in the Lobos’ 91-82 win Saturday.
Williams torched the Rams for 46 points, including 18 over the last nine minutes after he’d picked up his fourth personal foul.
“Luckily, some shots went in,” said the junior from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., who almost doubled his previous career high of 24.
