I would like to thank all the SAM-FM listeners who contributed to this year’s annual holiday turkey drive.
This was the seventh year for the turkey drive and again people reached deep down to help their neighbors. Because of your generosity, I was able to get turkeys for the Samaritan House, Victory Home Health, the Soup Kitchen, the Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul, the I.C. Church and even some for Santa Claus. They were all extremely grateful for the donations and I also thank them for their devoted service to our community all year round.
I would also like to send a special thanks to Ron and Richard and all of the staff at Lowe’s who made this so much easier for us again this year. Doing the turkey drive is one of my favorite things because it allows me to see the good in people and it is overwhelming! So many people in our community were able to have a wonderful holiday meal because of the generosity of our listeners.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for coming out and helping your friends and neighbors again this year.
You guys rock and I love you! Have a Happy New Year!

With your help we were able to get 23 good baskets out. We are very grateful for your generous donations. Thank you for showing compassion and generosity towards others during these hard times.
