Letter: Let's not pass the buck

I agree with Sen. Phil Griego’s comment on KFUN that San Miguel County needs to “buck up“ and accept alternative energy. But I disagree that an industrial wind farm on its National Scenic Byway is the way to do it.

Individuals can “buck up” at home and work, by turning off unused lights and appliances, using compact florescent light bulbs, weatherstripping, installing skylights, investing in rooftop solar systems, driving conservatively, recycling at the Las Vegas Reclamation Center.
