Leger to remain as commission chair

The San Miguel County Commission re-elected Nicolas Leger as its chairman and Ron Ortega as its vice chairman during its organizational meeting last week.

Leger and Ortega have served in those posts for a year, and both thanked their colleagues for their continued faith in their leadership.

Also at that meeting, held on Jan. 8, newly elected Commissioner Gilbert Sena took his seat on the commission, replacing David Salazar, who didn’t seek re-election because of term limits.
