Lady Dons sweep Prep

West Las Vegas head volleyball coach Mary Bustos credited a total team effort with her squad’s straight-sets victory Saturday at Santa Fe Prep.

The Lady Dons won 25-10, 25-19, 25-17, chasing the four-set win Thursday night at home against Santa Fe Indian.

Deanna Bustos’ defense was sharp to the tune of 39 digs, and Gabby Griego — whose big serve packed a punch in the win over the Lady Braves on Thursday — added 12 for the Lady Dons.
