Karlee Bradley led all scorers with 20 points and Kassandra Tapia turned out another double-double Monday night for Robertson in a 55-41 win at Raton.
Bradley, who’d fouled out of the Lady Cardinals’ shorthanded loss at Santa Fe Indian School on Saturday,, provided offense to spare on Monday. Tapia recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds, Daniella Montoya had 16 points and Miranda Garcia grabbed eight boards for Robertson.
Considering West Las Vegas’ 49-43 loss to Pojoaque and Santa Fe Indian’s 42-39 defeat of St. Michael’s, also on Monday, there is a three-way tie for first place in the District 2-3A standings with Pojoaque, SFIS and WLV all 3-1. With a 2-2 district mark, the Lady Cardinals are just a game behind that trio. St. Mike’s is 1-3, and Raton is 0-4.
In district games Wednesday night, Robertson hosts West, Pojo hosts St. Mike’s, and SFIS hosts Raton to bring the 2-3A schedule to its halfway point.

Santa Fe Indian’s 75-51 boys’ basketball win over Robertson this past weekend gave Ernie Rodriguez’s Braves a 4-0 district mark and sole possession of first in 2-3A.
The Cardinals (2-2) play at West Las Vegas (1-3) on Thursday evening to complete the first half of the district slate. St. Mike’s (2-2) hosts Pojoaque, also Thursday. SFIS hosts Raton (0-4) Wednesday.
Former West Las Vegas Lady Don Geneva Rivera tallied a team-high 15 points for Pecos’ girls’ basketball team in a 59-34 decision Monday against Coronado.
The Lady Panthers are 6-8.
Mora (8-12) held on to beat Mesa Vista 69-68 in overtime Saturday in Ojo Caliente. Leo Paul Pacheco and Miguel Serna scored 14 apiece.
