The Las Vegas Kryptonite won a 5-3 battle Monday night in Moriarty, adding to its recent win streak.
In the top of the first, the Kryptonite jumped on Moriarty for two runs. Las Vegas leadoff hitter Corey Archibeque reached first on a error and moved to second, and Nicholas Aragon was hit by a pitch. Antonio Arguello scored Archibeque on a fielder’s choice and Aragon would score the second run on a play at home when the Heat catcher attempted to tag the runner out but dropped the ball.
