Kanneh headed to NFL showcase

New Mexico Highlands University defensive back Abdul Kanneh has committed to playing in the 2013 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, the NFL Players Association announced this week in a news release.

Kanneh will be one of the draft-eligible seniors competing in the all-star game on Saturday, Jan. 19, at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif.

Kanneh earned 2012 Daktronics NCAA Division-II Football All-America First-Team and BSN All-America First-Team honors.
