Joint-use parking lot planned

The Las Vegas City Council today will consider an agreement with a credit union for a joint-use parking lot on city land.

State Employees Credit Union is planning an expansion that will deal with a large amount of customer traffic.

The city and the credit union have drafted a lease agreement that would give the credit union use of the nearby city riverwalk land for parking in exchange for $150,000 in improvements to the property in question. The land has been appraised at $52,000.
