Isabel Maclovia Lujan, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 after an extended illness.
She was born to Catarino and Demetria Gutierrez in Sabinoso, N.M.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was married to the late Charlie Lujan. Together they had and raised three children.
Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a full-time mother to her children to make sure they became good, kind, and productive citizens.
She is survived by her three children, Patrick Lujan of Portland, Ore. (wife Christine and grandchildren Austin and Riley), Carlos Lujan of Las Vegas (wife Kathy and grandchild Kassidy), and Marie Kavanaugh of Las Vegas (husband Dave and grandchild Tatiana); her brother, Patricio Gutierrez (wife Katie) of Logan, N.M., sisters-in-law, Susanna Gutierrez of Logan, N.M. and Helen Gutierrez of Sabinoso, N.M., numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug.10, at Rogers Chapel in Las Vegas.
Rosary devotional services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas, with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will be at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Cemetery in Sabinoso, N.M., with the following serving as casket bearers: Joe Cruz, Ron Cruz, David Kavanaugh, Chris Kavanaugh, Navor Gutierrez and George Herrera.
