An informative radio program

-A A +A

Just wanted everyone in Las Vegas to know that I thought the radio station KFUN had an excellent program on March 11 with our honorable mayor, Alfonso Ortiz, Mr. Timothy Dodge, city manager, and Mr. Ken Garcia, city utilities director.

They, along with Mr. Joseph Baca of KFUN touched on many important issues that should concern all of the citizens of Las Vegas. Sure hope Mr. Baca made a recording of this program so that he can play it on a few more morning or afternoon programs so that the entire Las Vegas community can listen to it. It was a very informative program and, most importantly, Mr. Baca touched quite a bit on issues that should concern all of the citizens of Las Vegas.

All of us need to hear this program again as it was very informative (and) stressed that members of this community need to work shoulder to shoulder in order to have Las Vegas continue to surge ahead and succeed, and show other communities that the only way one can move ahead with all of their endeavors is to work together.

There can be no room for animosity among our citizens, as that will surely lead to failure.

Thanks to all of these men for all the information of our water needs and accessibility to it for Las Vegas and its citizens. And also for information on the use of the efficient water.

Much information was issued on the importance of the transfer station and its successful operation.

Keep in mind that Las Vegas is for “We the people” and not only for “me, myself, and I.” That is how we all move ahead.
