There's no doubt that Highlands University junior linebacker Jordan Campbell is undeniably the best at his position in the RMAC, let alone Division II football.

And there's no reason that he should be elected for the HARLON HILL TROPHY the end of this football season!

For this to happen, the respective college Sports Information Directors (SID's) select their choice and submit them to the region for nomination. In this case, its the WEST. Points are tallied up and submitted for final choice.

Cowboy linebacker Jordan Campbell, a junior from Corona, CA, has by far the most athleticism of ANY RMAC player. All he has to do is play his strong defensive game and punt those booming 60-plus yarders against two of the best RMAC teams in the nation; University of Nebraska-Kearney; and Colorado State-Pueblo.

Hopefully, the Harlon Hill Trophy will grace his name and bring back a sense of proudness to the Highlands University Football.

RMAC Politics As Usual...

There's no doubt about it, NMHU football is considered to be more than an "OUTLAW SCHOOL" by RMAC brass...

And for this reason Jordan Campbell wasn't nominated for the Harlon Hill trophy. (Two quarterbacks from U of Neb/Kearney and Colorado Pueblo got the nod)...Campbell, as you may recall, kicked a 89-yarder in the last game of the year. If RMAC didn't notice that, what a shame!

Chances are that Campbell will enter the 2012 NFL draft, and be a mid-draft selection. He would fit nicely into the Oakland Raiders scheme of things...

Meanwhile, the two QB's selected for the HH Trophy will never be NFL draft material; just very good Div. II QB's...
