Racing at the Oklahoma Panhandle Open on Saturday, both the New Mexico Highlands men and women took team titles at the same meet for the first time in several years.
A challenging course and temperatures in the 30s “brought out the best” in the NMHU runners, said assistant coach Joe Quintana. Both teams swept the top three individual places on the way to winning the first-ever college cross country meet at Oklahoma Panhandle.
