We’ve made no secret about our concerns that the federal government has been overstepping its constitutional authority in the way it collects data on all Americans.
On Monday, a federal judge ruled that the National Security Agency’s bulk collection of millions of Americans telephone records probably violates the U.S. Constitutions ban on unreasonable searches. And the judge took things a step further, saying that the federal government failed to cite even one instance in which the controversial program stopped an imminent terrorist attack.
