Hit and runs land two men in jail

Two men with histories of drunken driving arrests ended up behind bars again last week, each once charged with driving under the influence again and fleeing after getting into an accident.

Michael S. Lopez, 39, of the 800 block of Kavanaugh Street and Andrew J. Galvin, 42, of the 900 block of Jackson, were both arrested and booked into the San Miguel County Detention Center last Monday. Their cases are unrelated.
