Highlands University regents called a special meeting Wednesday to look at plans for a new residence hall that is expected to be ready to house students by the fall of 2009.
Members of the architectural firm Dekker, Perich and Sabatini presented a design to the regents showing the board a structure they called “student apartments.”
President Jim Fries said the project was among the many exciting things taking place on the university campus.
