New Mexico Highlands’ wrestling team won four of 10 matches Thursday night and fell one maneuver short of another against a solid Adams State squad.
The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference dual meet was only the second home event of the season for NMHU and one of only four overall to be held at the Wilson Complex.
Coach Doug Moses’ Cowboys (3-9-1, 1-4-1 RMAC) host Chadron State (6-3, 3-0) on Friday night at 7. After that, the last chance to see the NMHU grapplers in Las Vegas will be Feb. 14, when Colorado State-Pueblo comes to town.
