The capital outlay bill approved by state lawmakers contains more than $5.7 million for projects in San Miguel County, but Gov. Susana Martinez is already calling at least one of those earmarks “pork,” and threatening to veto it.
Capturing Martinez’s attention is a $205,000 appropriation “to plan, design, construct and equip the weight room in the West Las Vegas Public School District.”
