Local people nominated for the Good Samaritan Award are  Robert and Pat Amai, Joseph and Loretta Baca, Tito and Mary Chavez, Dr. Cordell and Pat Halverson, Ray and Joyce Litherland and Bill Oshima. Votes are by ticket the night of the benefit.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and are available at Tito’s, Tome on the Range, and Semilla.   There are sponsorship packages available as well.

A live auction of donated items ranging from items of other countries to an overnight for two at the Plaza Hotel will be held following the entertainment.

Martha Johnsen will emcee the event. The benefit is scheduled from 6 to 9 p. m., with shuttles available from the UWC parking lot to the Castle.
