Led by strong individual performances from distance runner Carolina Garcia and All-American Angella Graham, the New Mexico Highlands University women’s track and field team  came away with a third-place finish in the Colorado State-Pueblo Invitational April 15-17 in Pueblo.

NMHU joined 20 teams from throughout the Rocky Mountain and Great Plains for the meet. Teams from as far north as the Dakotas as well as Wyoming and Nebraska attended the chilly 42-degree meet at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl Stadium and Throws complex.
