Gabaldon hired to head WLV baseball

According to sources close to the West Las Vegas athletic department, the school has named Ryan Gabaldon as its new head baseball coach.

Gabaldon has coached with West several years, both as a top assistant for the varsity and as a middle school coach. He also had winning results at the Little League level with many of the players currently on the Dons roster.

The Dons baseball job has been open since the district declined to renew the contract of Dean Gallegos, who had also served as food services director.
