Imagine a single gas that comprises less than 4 percent of the 1 billion cubic miles of Earth’s atmosphere, is causing calamitous changes to the entire planet’s weather. Isn’t that totally incredible?

• Baseline Accuracy: Since thermometers in the 1890s were comparatively unsophisticated with a margin of error of a degree or so, and their surrounding environments were cool rural, why should I believe today’s air temperature has increased a degree or so?
