A disparity in free-throw attempts and conversions proved critical in Santa Fe Indian School’s 69-58 win over visiting Robertson in boys’ basketball action Monday in Santa Fe.
“We didn’t play very well,” said RHS head coach David Bustos. “The difference was at the free-throw line.”
The Braves were brilliant at the stripe, sinking 28 of 31 foul shots. The Cardinals (2-2) attempted just 16 free throws, making 11.
