Albuquerque’s beaseball team did just that in the bottom of the fourth frame Sunday evening on the way to defeating Iowa 8-6.

The Isotopes improved to 41-56 and the Cubs slipped to 60-39. Tonight’s series closer is the last game before the All-Star break.

Tagg Bozied led the ‘Topes, going 4 of 5 with two runs. Chris Barnwell, John Gall, Alberto Concepcion and starting pitcher Dallas Trahern each collected two hits, with Concepcion and Andrew Beattie driving in two runs apiece.
