Fiesta de la Hispanidad will celebrate its 20th year Friday evening, March 28 in Ilfeld Auditorium.
This year’s fiesta will start with pre-show entertainment at 6 p.m. by Joaquín Maestas-Manuel’s Mariachi de lo de Mora from Mora Schools, until 6:30 p.m.,
This year’s lineup includes Antonia Apodaca with Domingo Madrid and Apodaca’s son Max; Amalia, Angelica Lopez and Daniel Torres, Michael Rascón, Lori Bovia’s Los Zapateados ballet folklorico group, blues guitarist and young musician Andrés García and Tonati Aparicio; Faith Kayla García, Pacheco-Aragon’s Zumba dancers; Robertson High School’s Mariachi Cardenal with duo Benny Ortiz and Marisa Baca; Kayla Gonzales, Claudio Baca, Toby Sena, and the grand finale act will be Reyes and Angélica Montoya.
Tickets for the show are $5 each. Harris said there will be free refreshments and door prizes. Advance tickets may be purchased from Donna Martínez at the KEDP radio station across from Ilfeld Auditorium.
