The Las Vegas-San Miguel County DWI Task Force cited a number of successes during a meeting last week, including four licenses to serve alcohol leaving the city.
Mayor Henry Sanchez said, “Las Vegas is becoming a town not friendly to alcohol.”
He said the Bull Rush, Palms, Wolff’s Den and La Cantina had all sold their licenses to businesses outside of San Miguel County.
The DWI Task Force also exchanged ideas before a big push to convince the Legislature that money would be well spent by funding programs to stop drinking and driving.
